As consultants we serve to provide practical insight with effective strategies, policy solutions and meaningful data. Our experience informs our approach, and consultants aim to share that knowledge to strengthen the work of organizations, projects and individuals to achieve affordable nutritious food for all people.

Types of Projects

- Food Retail Development (Market feasibility studies, corner store renovation, Supermarket development strategy)

- External Program Evaluations (School-based nutrition programs, farmers markets, feeding programs)

- School-based initiative development (cafeteria re-design, nutrition education programs, kindergarten programming)

- Program feasibility studies (community markets, corner stores, farm-to-school)

We seek initiatives that are:

- Mission Driven: Outcomes are clearly aligned with the mission of providing access to affordable nutritious food for all people

- Knowledge Building: Engagement will lead to the production of knowledge that will serve to develop the field

- Capacity to Act: The contracting organization is positioned to grow as a result of our work together

-Capability: Challenges and opportunities facing the contracting organization are well-aligned with The Food Trust's capabilities.

Costs

Projects are generally priced either by the hour or by the project. Hourly fees range from $75 to $150.
